The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The service point established for intervention activities a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who go to a service status sassa point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
